The Canoe Procurement Group of Canada is a collaboration of municipal associations across the nation. Canoe began conducting group purchasing in 1936. As interprovincial and international trade agreements have evolved over the years, Canoe has expanded its network nationally in Canada through collaboration with RMA, SARM, AMM, LAS, NSFM, MNL, FPEIM, UMNB, CivicInfo BC and NWTAC. Canoe has partnered with Sourcewell to co-post tenders in Canada and bring Sourcewell awarded contracts to Canadian membership. As one of the largest public-sector buying groups in Canada, Canoe establishes all of its programs through a competitive tender process. A Canoe-approved supplier is one that not only provides competitive pricing but the overall best value to our membership. Canoe’s contracts are structured to provide national level pricing while supporting your local dealers and streamlining the procurement process.
