Commercial Truck Equipment was responsible for significant customization including the design and manufacture of custom 15’ checker-plate aluminum flat decks with L-track walls, hydraulic lift gate mounts, and actuating arrow boards. Additional upgrades included both underbody and on-vehicle toolboxes from multiple manufacturers, shovel holders, backup cameras, and full custom LED lighting.
“Working with municipalities on projects like this is a core strength for us, and with our extensive EV knowledge, in-house engineering capability, and vast vendor networks, we were able to complete this on-time, and on-budget without issue.” offered Will Schwenger, Project Manager.
Utilizing its customer-centric approach to vehicle customization, Commercial Truck Equipment was able to design and implement specific usability, operator comfort, and safety features tailored completely to the unique client application: large-item refuse collection such as appliances, furniture, and mattresses. In addition to electric-drivetrain fire trucks, we also offer performance hybrid safety vehicles for aviation and structure fire, as well as electric idle-reduction upfitting and fully electric PTO’s.
