Commercial Truck Equipment Launches After-Hours Parts Program for Edmonton Area
Canada’s largest Truck Equipment supplier now provides emergency access to hydraulic, truck, utility, towing, and fire apparatus parts seven days a week, 365 days a year.
EDMONTON, AB – December 13, 2021 – Commercial Truck Equipment Co. has launched a new service to significantly expand the hours in which parts are available to its customers. Commercial Truck’s new after-hours parts program is now operational and is offered seven days a week, extending customer access to staff and parts to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays for the Edmonton area. On-call parts staff have complete remote access to real-time parts availability and provide no-cost, no-obligation part availability checks for customers. For in-stock parts, purchases can usually be picked up at the branch within 30 minutes of an inquiry.
Our dedicated parts team have done an incredible job of putting this program together,” said Brennan Kapler, Edmonton Branch Manager. “Our customers don’t operate nine-to-five; They’re out at all hours of the day keeping roads clear, repairing power lines, producing energy, clearing motor vehicle accidents, and keeping Canadians safe. This new program is a big step forward in helping combat downtime for their equipment and vehicles and we think it’s going to be welcomed, celebrated, and highly utilized by industry in the Edmonton area.”
Commercial Truck Equipment offers a flat-rate $100 CAD call-out fee plus the cost of parts for after-hours purchases. Branch pickup and third-party transport including oilfield hotshot and private courier services are available for customers unable to pick up in person. Commercial Truck Equipment has partnerships with most major transport and courier providers in the Edmonton area to provide full-service emergency parts support from door-to-door.
We’ve been hearing it from the folks out in the field for a while, actually,” said Braedon Humphrey, Edmonton Parts Manager. “The workers out there in construction, infrastructure, oilfield, towing, and so many other industries are ramping back up now, and whether it’s a small hydraulic fitting, or a full replacement PTO unit, they need to be able to rely on a vendor to have mission-critical parts on the shelf and ready to go. We designed this program to respond to the current market demands, and we’re looking forward to being that solution for our customers.”
