Power liftgates for pick-up trucks were made popular by the vending machine industry, but today serve a variety of different industries, primarily delivery and logistics. Modern tailgates and liftgates are offered in a variety of configurations, and are available for all common work truck and van chassis. Stowaway units neatly tuck away under the bumper so they don’t interfere with dock loading but allow the same high dock-level truck to make ground deliveries, and traditional tailgates offer increased capacity while stowed behind the vehicle.
