Overview
Commercial Truck Equipment is looking to add a Full-Time Permanent Warehouse Helper/Parts Runner to our busy Regina branch.

The Warehouse Helper/Parts Runner plays a key role in supporting production and operations by completing the daily parts and material pick-ups for the service and production departments, maintaining an organized system of service and production parts at each service bay, and overseeing inventory of shop supplies. An organized, detail-oriented individual with knowledge of small warehouse operations, manufacturing, and production with the ability to follow directions and complete tasks with minimal supervision would be an ideal candidate for this position. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Complete pick-up and delivery of parts, materials, and tools in a time efficient manner with proper communication back to the warehouse
  • Communicate with vendors regarding the pick-up and delivery of parts as required
  • Physically receiving material and putting into applicable location as directed by the service-production managers
  • General shop and equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Transfer tools, components, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations
  • Assist in the receiving and stocking of new parts
  • Maintain inventory
  • Maintain a clean work area, including tools and equipment
  • Working with hand tools and ladders
  • Regular interaction with mechanics/technicians, shop staff, and managers
  • Other duties as required by employer

Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will have a mix of the following qualifications and experience. Commercial is looking for someone who has the experience to make a smooth transition into this position and hit the ground running. We will consider candidates from all backgrounds and industries, providing familiarization and training for the right candidate.

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Class-5 driver’s license
  • Physically able to perform all duties and lift upwards of 50 pounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory
  • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
  • Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as directed by the employer
  • Experience in a warehouse/shop environment would be beneficial
  • Forklift certification would be considered an asset
